1. Instagram TV (I.G TV)

On IG TV you can upload videos longer than 60 seconds long

The point of IGTV is that Instagram users can now make longer videos, which can potentially become more-engaging content for followers.

Video Length

On IG TV you can upload videos longer than 60 seconds long but if you have less than 10k followers you are allowed videos of 10 minutes long. However, if you have more than 10K followers you can post up to 60 minute long videos

Video Aspect

Videos are meant to be filmed and watched in a vertical, full-screen format, you never have to turn your phone to view IG TV videos

How to Create a IG TV Channel:

⇒ Check out the upper right hand side of the screen for the little wheel icon, “settings tab”.
⇒ Tap that and you’ll be prompted with the option to “create your own channel”.
⇒ then Tap the “Create Channel” button and your channel is born!

⇒ On your profile in the Instagram app,

⇒ tap the symbol.

⇒ Then tap “Nametag”.

If this is the first time you visit this page, you’ll see instructions.

To customize your Instagram Nametag,

⇒ On your profile in the Instagram app

⇒ tap the label at the top of the screen. This cycles between Emoji, Selfie, and Color.

⇒ On the Emoji screen, you can pick any Emoji, and it will be scattered over the background.

4. Don’t overuse or misuse hashtags

Hashtags are extremely important on Instagram and should be used on every post, to increase reach. Choose 10-15 relevant hashtags to include in your caption. Don’t use popular hashtags like #tagforlikes or #onedirection or #love. Actually, by using general hashtags, you end up not showing your photo on any hashtag.

5. You should not ignore your followers’ comments

When people take the time to comment on your posts or ask questions, do not ignore them! Respond (using their @username to notify them) and thank them or answer their question. When used regularly, comments will significantly improve your relationship with your audience.

6. You should not  steal content

Just because you like another Instagram user’s photo doesn’t mean you can post it as your own. If you want to include user-generated content (UGC) in your strategy, have users tag you or use hashtags on their posts. When reposting, always, always, always provide proper attribution.

7. You should not use images from Google searches

Just don’t. Instead, you may like pexels.com

8.  You should not buy followers in bulk

They won’t serve you in any way. On the contrary, they’ll ruin your chances of reaching the popular page and they won’t actually like or comment on your posts.

9.  You should stick to instagram guideline sizes when creating images.

If your image is not the correct size Instagram will crop or resize your image as you upload. This can cause your image to display incorrectly, cut out important parts or dis-pixel your image

10. Do not use Instagram bots unless you are sure of its system, heres why

The Good: They Boost Social Media Presence –

Instagram bots are designed to boost your social media presence without you having to lift a finger. Instead of you scrolling through your Instagram feed and liking, commenting, and following, the Instagram bot does the work for you.

The Bad: There Are Lots of Fake Accounts –

So, you might be jealous of Selena Gomez’s 128 million followers, but you shouldn’t be. There are plenty of reasons to believe that many of her followers are fake.

Back in 2015, 24 million Instagram accounts were fake. Later that year, Instagram conducted a purge which caused celebrities like Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Justin Bieber to lose millions of followers overnight. But unfortunately, it didn’t solve the problem.

As an entrepreneur myself who knows the importance of efficiency, in this particular case, I would NOT recommend using Instagram bots to help grow your following.
